Ideas for treats and luxury items that can be added to boxes to make them that bit special

Foot Pamper Set

A pair of fluffy socks, a foot file, a foot pack and a travel size foot cream.

Either put in small gift bag, or wrap in the socks and tie with a ribbon.

Hot Chocolate Treat

A couple of sachets of hot chocolate, some mini marshmallows and chocolates in a bag makes a luxury chocolate treat. Then you can put them in a cup, or a mug to make it even better. Both of these were picked up from charity shops.

Everything to put in the bags is on our Amazon wishlist - we don't mind making them up if we have the things to make them with .

Making a box look fuller, and also protecting small items

Small items such as keyrings, torches and pens can get lost in a filled shoebox. But if you put them in an empty tin, they also provide a handy receptacle for people to store things in.

When you are adding a lot of small items to a box, it can be difficult to make it look full, so you can use small boxes to put small items like jewellery in. Looks pretty as well.

Some ideas for Male boxes

Dominoes, packs of cards, small games are great for men's boxes

More hot chocolate treats

If you don't want to make your own hot chocolate treats up like the one above, you can buy them - these were both £1 in Home Bargains

Suggestions for Elderly boxes

Light up Christmas decorations
Small reuseable handwarmer
Small craft kit

Puzzle books, suduko, crosswords, are great additions.  And this light up magnifying glass, from Poundland, is a great help for them.

Top tip for biscuits

Save any nice biscuit tins you get, and ask your friends to do the same,  and then fill them with Christmas themed biscuits. Last year chocolate digestives came in Mince Pie and Gingerbread flavours.
